Alexandria Coronado ....Everyone who has met Alexandria Coronado knows she has had some of the most interesting, weird and fun experiences ever. She doesn’t seek these adventures out; rather, they seem to seek her.
....Alexandria grew up in Orange County, California and has traveled most of world. She earned a Doctorate in Musical Arts and a Master's degree in Music Education from the University of Southern California, where she was selected Most Outstanding Student. She served the community as an elected member of the Orange County Board of Education from 2002-2010, and as a Trustee for the Anaheim Union High School District from 1998-2002.

....Since joining SCBWI in 2010, she has published two stories in the Los Angeles Times Kids’ Reading Room: "Auntie Mary's Green Thumb," on Sunday, September 26, 2010, and "Whirling Derv-Ish," on March 6, 2011. "Whirling Derv-Ish" was re-printed in The Morning Call, another Tribune publication located in Pennsylvania

....Alexandria is slowly recuperating from a serious car accident, but has been happily typing away while lying flat on her back. She has two more children's stories ready for publication, and is working on a ghost novel set in a theater.

Alexandria's puppy Coco ....She serves as Treasurer for the USC Thornton School of Music Alumni Association and is a board member of the USC Newport-Irvine Alumni Club. Alexandria lives with her loving daughter Chelsea, and crazy puppy, Coco. She hopes you have as much fun reading her stories as she has writing them!
